1. This Shipping & Delivery Policy must be read with our  “Shipping and Delivery of orders” in Terms & Conditions as published on our Website at www.spottedbox.co.za
  2. To make it easy for you, we make use of the services of our Delivery Partner, The Courier Guy: We have a service delivery agreement with The Courier Guy. (“TCG”)
    • Any insurance cover request from TCG shall be subject to their terms and conditions, accessible by clicking this link: thecourierguy.co.za. SB shall provide you with a copy of their terms. We do not get involved in any delays or lost shipments and insurance cover remains your liability. 
    • Please check your insurance options when making use of TCG by following this link, refer Paragraph 13.1 to 13.3.3: www.thecourierguy.co.za.
    • TCG will access and make use of your geographical location and only use as much of your personal information as is legally necessary to deliver your Order safely and securely.
  3. Delivery options will be selected during your check-out process in our on-line Shop. If you are not sure how it works, please contact us by e-mail of give us a call.
  4. Delivery will be calculated at checkout when placing your Order on our on-line shop and costs are based on your delivery location.
  5. Orders with a total value over R500.00 will be delivered via our Courier for FREE only in the Major Centres. (Bloemfontein, Cape Town, Centurion, Durban, East London, George, Johannesburg, Kimberley, Ladysmith, Nelspruit, Pretoria, Port Elizabeth, Polokwane, Potchefstroom, Nelspruit, Stellenbosch, Welkom, and Witbank.)
  6. Your order will arrive within 1 – 3 working days of us receiving your payment. Orders are processed within a day from payment received & cleared during working hours and once your order is ready to be dispatched, you will receive your goods delivered to your door within 1-3 days by our trusted courier.
  7. Courier delivery to other areas, not falling within the boundaries of a major area as listed in paragraph 5 above, we will still deliver to your door via courier. The delivery will however take a little bit longer. Your Order will arrive within 3 – 7 working days of us receiving your payment. Please note that a Delivery Surcharge may be applied for larger/heavier parcels and deliveries to outlying suburbs.
  8. We only deliver to addresses located in the town, no small- holdings or farms. If we must courier large items such as Homeware products, Salad Bowls, Cheese Boards, etc to outlying towns, a delivery surcharge may be charged should the address be remote or the parcel too large. Please inquire if you are unsure.
  9. Please make sure that there is or will be a responsible person at the delivery address as provided to take delivery between 8am – 5pm on weekdays only. If a person other that yourself, is accepting the delivery, you agree and confirm by entering the address details for delivery, that this address and the person receiving the Order, will do so with your consent. SB accepts no liability in this regard.
  10. Any special delivery or product requests must be typed into the ‘Comments’ box when checking out during the ordering process. We are flexible and pride ourselves in giving a personal service to our customer.
  11. PLEASE NOTE: Spotted Box will not be held responsible for any delays caused by the couriers.
  12. Any changes or increases in pricing by the Courier, will automatically affect the prices as referred to above. All updates as and when it occurs will be updated and published on our website should any prices change.
  13. In the event that we must change Couriers or make use of another courier company we will advise you accordingly should it not be the Courier Guy making the delivery.
